Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting

13 Feb 2013, by Ben Rodriguez in A SONG A DAY

Bernie Taupin, who wrote the lyrics to this one, said that the song was meant to be an American rock and roll song, set in Britain, and was inspired by his own raucous teenage days, especially the fights in his local pub, the Aston Arms. We put a version of this together, OPIV style.
