This song was co-written by three pioneers of Sam Phillips’ Sun Records studio. It was recorded by rockabilly hero Charlie Feathers. Charlie, a creative dynamo at Sun, co wrote the tune with Stan Kesler- a mandolin/guitar player in the studio’s house country band, and drummer Johnny Bernero. All three were a big part of the hey day of rockabilly and country in the 1950’s. Charlie and Stan co-wrote Elvis’s 1955 hit “I Forgot To Remember To Forget”. Charlie wrote about 200 other songs, mostly rockabilly.
