If You See Mary Lee

This song was first released as simply “Mary Lee” by the Rainbows on Boston’s Pilgrim Records in 1956. Then, two years later they re-recorded it and called it “If You See Mary Lee” which was the first single for the Los Angeles record label Firefly (Jan-Lar) Records in 1958. Firefly (Jan-Lar) put out singles in 1958 like How Will I Know by The Strands, Car Crash by the Cadets, and tunes by the Castle-Tones,The Ontarios, and the Rocketeers. This is our take on If You See Mary Lee.

Happy 4th of July everyone.
