“Dinah” was written by three vaudevillian songwriters. Two of the three, Lewis And Young, wrote “Rock A Bye Your Baby With A Dixie Melody”. Joe Young wrote lyrics to “In A Shanty, In Old Shanty Town”, a hit in 1932.
