Here’s more early rock and roll coming at ya. You can’t underestimate Bill Haley & The Comets. They were more country than rock and roll when they first started. They junked their cowboy hats and added wild acrobatic stage moves and hip phrases to their song lyrics. Bill and those guys recorded this in ’53, a year before the ’54 boom.
